PURPOSE:To always ensure the cutting in the correct direction and with a constant length without extending idly the communication time, by stopping temporarily the recording paper for cutting but not stopping the working of the picture information recording part while the recording paper is stopped. CONSTITUTION:The step motor has no rotation when the picture information on a certain page has been recorded completely. And then secondary scanning paper feed rollers 8 and 9 start rotations when the recording is started for the next page. Thus recording paper 2 is sent to the right. And when the rear end part of the picture image on paper 2 of the preceding page reaches cutter 19, solenoid 14 is excited. As a result, original 2 is pressed to the guide plate at one end 13a of stop lever 13 and thus cannot move. However, recording 6 is continued for the picture information of the next page, and paper 2 is transported to the right by rollers 8 and 9 to form a loop between rollers 8/9 and stopping device 12. Paper 2 is cut by rotary blade 19 while solenoid 14 is being excited. And solenoid 14 is demagnetized immediately after cutting, and thus paper 2 can move freely to dissolve the loop. |
