There is described a brake assembly to prevent the rotation of a wheel mounted to a vehicle. The brake includes a brake mount having a housing assembly attached to the brake mount so as to be provided adjacent the wheel. A cam member is pivotally supported by the housing assembly and the cam member is actuatable between a wheel braking and a wheel releasing position.
