PURPOSE:To improve cooling efficiency by forming a decompressed closed space by a closed tube outside a discharge tube, installing wicks, to which an evaporative working liquid is infiltrated, onto the external wall of the discharge tube and the inwall of the closed tube, using bridge sections connecting both ends of both walls as the wicks and mounting a radiator on the whole surface of the outside of the closed tube. CONSTITUTION:The heat of a discharge tube 1 is transmitted over the evaporative working liquid of pure water infiltrated to wicks 13 by thermal conduction, and the working liquid is evaporated, moved to the wick 14 side set up onto the inwall of a closed tube 12 through closed spaces 11, cooled by cooling water in a water-cooling jacket 8, and condensed and liquefied and returned to the wicks 14 on the inwall of the closed tube 12. Consequently, hydraulic pressure differenee is generated in the wicks 13, 14, and the working liquid is shifted to the wick 13 side fitted onto the external wall of the discharge tube 1 through bridge sections 15. Accordingly, the discharge tube is cooled effectively. |
