<p>of the Invention The present invention pertains to an insert-molding method, and collapsible insert molding pin assembly. A molding insert is provided with a plurality of collapsible pin assemblies each including a hollow, cylindrical boss, a piston, a valve and a pin. The collapsible pin assemblies locate the molding insert in a mold cavity until pressure exerted by inflowing molding material causes the piston carrying the pin to retract into the hollow cylindrical boss.</p> |
