PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the properties of erasing information recorded by heat over time from being deteriorated and increase heat resistance to enhance durability by using two or more different types of resins with varying glass transition temperature consisting of a resin with high transition temperature as a main body and dispersing these resins in the form of a lump. SOLUTION: From the viewpoint of a mechanism to form a milky image and erase an image in the reversible thermal recording material, a preferable lump-like dispersion is generated not only when a curable resin and a noncurable resin are mixed but also when two or more different types of resins with a high glass transition temperature (Tg) and a resin with a low glass transition temperature (Tg) are mixed. In addition, the reversible thermal recording material contains a dispersed lump-like resin C excepting an organic low molecule in the resin A of a reversible thermosensitive layer. The preferable size of the lump is 100Å or more in the form of a microgel from the viewpoint of the durability of the thermosensitive layer. On the other hand, the image contrast tends to deteriorate, if the lump size is 10,000Å or more. |
