发明名称 CERAMIC SUPERCONDUCTOR AND MANUFACTURE OF THE SAME
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a ceramic superconductor having a large critical current and a small resistance, even when the superconductive condition is broken, and prevent occurrence of quenching phenomenon by forming it from entangling metal wires containing specific metals chiefly and a ceramic sintered substance in specific perovskite structure, and by giving the volume fraction of these components a specified value. CONSTITUTION:A linear or coil-shaped ceramic superconductor is composed of a plural ity of metal wires entangling with one another and containing one or more of Pt, Au, Ag, paradium, etc., as main component and a ceramic superconductive substance sintering in oxygen-missing treble perovskite structure. When the total volume fraction of the mentioned metal wires and ceramic superconductive sintering is 40-90%, that of the ceramic superconductive sintering is 30-80%, and that of the metal wires is over 10%, so the superconductor is sintered and bubbles generated at the time of sintering enlarges the surface areas of the ceramic layer to enhance the heat treating effect in oxygen atmosphere, and enlarged volume fraction of the ceramic layer increases the critical current and prevents occurrence of quenching phenomenon even though existence of metal wires as good electric conductor has broken the superconductive condition eventually.
