PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a motor and to improve economy without disabling take-in by temporarily decreasing the rotation of a take-in roller shaft when a folded or crimped paper sheet is taken into the device. CONSTITUTION:When a folded or crimped bank bill P is taken in, it is not taken into the take-in section 9 regardless of rotation of take-in rollers 5, 5. It is because the bank bill P produces negative pressure in the take-in section 9 and increases torque of the take-in roller shaft 21, and when the load reaches to a transmission torque (T) slip occurs between the coupling members A28a and B28b in a detent mechanism 28 thus driving the roller shaft 21 through the rotary shaft 27 with torque (T') and reducing the rotation. When the rotation of an auxiliary shaft 30 decreases and matches to the rotation of a gear A31, the one-way clutch 31a of the gear A31 engages with the auxiliary shaft 30 to transmit the rotation of the gear A31 to the gear B33, and thereby the roller shafts 5, 5 take in the bank bill P with torque increased through reduction of rotation. |
