PURPOSE:To make the output waveform by enlarged display or by plotter easier to read, by deleting the spectrum waveform indicated partially by the spectrum waveform within a specified range, and thereupon emitting the output. CONSTITUTION:Those spectrum waveforms corresponding to the contents of a range specifying part 2 which should be deleted are judged by an output spectrum judging part 6. First coordinates A (x0, y0) and B (x1, y1) of two points in a rectangular region are identified. The length l projected from x0 on the X axis to x1 is determined by the spectrum waveform whose counting of X-rays lies in the range of coordinates from y0 to y1. Vector waveform conforming to l=¦x0-x1¦ is emitted. That is, the spectrum waveform meeting this condition lies within the specified rectangular zone, and the spectra not meeting the condition are partially outside the rectangular zone. In case no spectrum waveform meets the condition, the one with greatest l is emitted. |
