<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of the damage, the deterioration of recording and reproducing characteristics, etc., of a tape caused by the strong blowdown of air in a rotary fixed drum when a drum rotates by forming thin grooves on a fixed drum in parallel with its rotating shaft or obliquely for the rotating shaft. CONSTITUTION:The subject device has a rotary drum 1 to rotate around a shaft 12 supported by a fixed drum 6, and an upper fixed drum 11 is fixed with a screw to a rotation supporting shaft 12. Further, thin grooves 15 parallel with the rotating shaft 12 are formed on the fixed drum 6 and the upper fixed drum 11. Since these thin grooves 15 work so as to make the air to blow down between the outer circumferential parts of the drums 1, 6, and 11 and a magnetic tape 7 escape, the magnetic tape 7 never receives stress by the air and never deforms in a strange way. Thus, the occurrence of the damage, the deterioration of the recording and reproducing characteristics, etc., of the magnetic tape can be prevented.</p> |
