<p>PURPOSE:To correspond to two types of cassettes respectively having different magnitudes of proper tape tension at tape driving time by changing the position of the other edge of a spring, one edge of which is fitted to a tension arm, according to the types of the cassettes. CONSTITUTION:The title device is equipped with a discriminating means to discriminate the first and second cassettes respectively having the different magnitudes of the proper tape tension at the tape driving time, a tension arm 1 to execute tension control by its rotating motion, a tension band 4 wound around the outer circumference of a supplying reel base 6 and combined with the tension arm 1 at its on edge, and a spring 9 combined with the tension arm 1 at its one edge and made to energize the tension band 4 in a direction to pull the tension band 4. Further, under a state in which the first cassette is installed and under another state in which the second cassette is installed, a position 13a at the side of the other edge of the spring 9 is changed by a signal from the discriminating means. Thus, the two types of cassettes respectively having the different magnitudes of the proper tape tension necessary for driving the tape can be applied.</p> |
