<p>PURPOSE:To by-pass transmission to another route at the time of generating the block of all routes to prevent the communication from being disconnected by arranging route regulating tables for displaying the existence of regulation of routes to adjacent stations to be retrieved in each destination station on respective stations. CONSTITUTION:The packet switched network is constituted of six packet exchanges A to F and respective exchanges A to F are connected through routes G to K. The route regulating tables 1A to 1F for displaying the existence of regulations of routes to adjacent stations to be retrieved in eash destination station are arranged on respective stations. When the block of all the routes is generated during the transfer of a packet, the channel numbers of passing channels written in a packet network utility area are traced and the route to the station meeting with the block of all the routes in the route regulation table of the preceding station is regulated. Thereby, the packet to the same destination station passed through the preceding station can be bypassed to another route and communication can be prevented from being disconnected.</p> |
