PURPOSE:To effectively separate each homogenous oxide from a mineral material consisting of plural kinds of oxide and to save energy of this separation by utilizing a difference of the boiling point in each oxide and by recovering the heat from the waste gas and reusing it in a boiler. CONSTITUTION:A mineral consisting of plural kinds of oxide, for example, flyash consisting of SiO2 and Al2O3, is ejected together with O2 into a low boiling vapor-generating furnace 1 from a nozzle 6, and the temp. in the furnace is maintained at >=2230 deg.C (boiling point of a low boiling oxide: SiO2) by the effect of a fuel fed to the furnace through a nozzle 5 together with the O2. Vaporized SiO2 is led to a cooling pipe 7 and quenched with cooling air from a nozzle 11. Thus, superfine particles of SiO2 having high purity is recovered in a cyclon 13 and a bag filter 14. On the other hand, Al2O3 having a b.p. at 3000 deg.C is melted and flows down along the surface of the inside wall of the low boiling vapor-generating furnace 1, and vaporized in a high boiling vapor-generating furnace 16 held at high temp. by the plasma electric current applied to electrode 20, 21, then cooled and collected similarly. |
