PURPOSE:To enhance electrostatic characteristics, humidity resistance, and durability by incorporating at least 2 kinds of specified resins in a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:The binder resin is composed of at least 2 kinds of the low- molecular weight resin A having an acid group, such as -PO3H, -SO3H, or COOH, or the like, on the terminal of the main chain of the polymer having an average molecular weight of 10<3>-2X10<4> and containing the acid group in an amount of 0.1-15wt.%, and the thermosetting resin B reactive with the functional group of the resin A except the acid group, or cross-linking with the other molecule of the resin B, and, preferably having a weight average molecular weight of 10<3>-10<5>, thus permitting electrostatic characteristics, especially, dark potential stability and photosensitivity to be enhanced, and a copy image high in fidelity to an original to be reproduced. |
