<p>A drainage system (10) includes a plurality of water collection pans (12) which may be quickly inserted in the interior cavities of masonry block units (20) over the length of a selected block wall course (14) for collecting the water drained through the interior cavities of the upper courses and directing water to the exterior of the wall. In one embodiment, the collection pans includes a collector portion (18) for positioning in the interior cavity of the block and extending across substantially the entire length of the block, the front (20) and rear (22) edges of the collector portion each including a flange (24, 26) extending horizontally to contact the top surface of the block, and drainage channel (28) extending outward from the collector portion past the endwall (30) of the block into the head joint between the block and an adjacent block.</p> |
