Carriage for railway vehicles

The rail carriage has a chassis carrying a pair of bogies and with a floor for a passenger compartment. The floor (4) has a lowered configuration below the upper portions of the wheels of the bogies and has a constant level over the full length of the body. The passenger area has a main zone (8) which extends between the two bogies (3) and has rows of seats (11-14). It has two secondary zones (18,19,31,32) at the ends of the main zone.
