PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of enabling designs and characters to stick on the the surface of plastic articles. SOLUTION: A base material 1 of a plastic article to be given predetermined designs or characters on its surface is set in a recess 21 on the surface of a working table 2, and a raw material roller 3 is installed on one side and a winding roller 31 is on the other side of the working table 2, and a rolled film 4 having designs and characters continuously printed many times with some sentences is set on the raw material roller 3 and wound up by securing its one outer end an the winding roller 31. After the film 4 is disposed on the surface of the material 1 and heated to an appropriate temperature so as to soften ink of the designs and characters, a compression roller 5 rolls from one end to the other end of the film 4 while compressing the film 4 from its upper surface, thus permitting ink of designs or characters on the surface of the film 4 to transfer-stick onto the surface of the base material 1. |
