<p>PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for removing projecting parts such as fluff, flash and the like of a tire and a similar material to be processed by low temp. embrittlement and breaking. CONSTITUTION: A tire is not arranged in various sizes but arranged so as to be arbitrarily continuously processed. This apparatus has an incorporating frame, that is, a housing and this housing contains a low temp. embrittling apparatus 3, that is, a cooling medium bath and a breaking tool and, further, an apparatus for performing the individual arrangement, tightening, transfer and processing motion of a tire is included in the housing. As the breaking tool, the ribbed non-rigid strip material 20 in the incorporating frame, that is, the housing is provided, for example, in liquid nitrogen forming an embrittling means and a tire having a running surface and embrittled at low temp. is guided along the strip material 20 and, at this time, the strip material coincides with the contour shape of the tire and projecting parts are broken and removed by the processing motion of the tire, especially, the rotation thereof.</p> |
