PURPOSE:To obtain a rigid foamed synthetic resin such as rigid polyurethane foam excellent in appearance and physical properties by reacting a halogen- containing polyol with a polyisocyanate compound in the presence of a specific foaming agent and a catalyst. CONSTITUTION:(A) A halogen-containing polyol compound being a polyol (modified material) obtained by adding an epihalohydrin or epihalohydrin and other monoepoxide to an initiator, preferably having a functional group capable of reacting with a monoepoxide, (B) active hydrogen compound other than the above-mentioned component A, preferably being polyether based polyol and (C) polyisocyanate compound such as tolylene diisocyanate are used as raw materials and these raw materials are reacted in the presence of a halogenated hydrocarbon based foaming agent and a catalyst to provide the objective resin having 0.2-8wt.% halogen content of the resin component. |
