CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical support member is composed of a member 10 consisting of the quality of material proper to fix a convergent type rod lens 8 and a member 9 made up of the quality of material proper to fix an optical isolator 7, and each member is formed in an integral shape by Ag brazing 16. The convergent type rod lens 8 is fastened to the lens fixing section 26 of the unified cylindrical support member by a joining member 19 having high strength and the optical isolator 7 to an optical-isolator fixing section 25 by a YAG laser 15 respectively, thus integrally fixing the convergent type rod lens 8 and the optical isolator 7 through the cylindrical support member.
