PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter circuit which is superior in control of snubber loss and uses a clamp snubber circuit, and in which semiconductor switches are connected in series two series or more. SOLUTION: When reverse continuity semiconductor switches 4A and 4B are turned off, the voltage between the terminals of the reverse continuity semiconductor switches 4A and 4B is raised. Furthermore, when the voltage between the terminals of the reverse continuity semiconductor switch 4A exceeds the voltage between the terminals of a clamp snubber capacitor 11A, a clamp snubber diode 12A is turned on. As a result, the energy of a reactor 8A comes to flow into the clamp snubber capacitor 11A. At this time, the voltage between the terminals of the reverse continuity semiconductor switch 4A is clamped by the clamp snubber capacitor 11A. |
