PURPOSE: To enable an active endostud part close to any part of rectum tumor, by installing a guide slot extending longitudinally on the surface of the endostud, the tip end of the endostud has a rod-like part which composed of an inactive material ecologically. CONSTITUTION: This inner cavity radiotherapy device comprises a rectum mirror 1 and an endostud (inner stabiliser) 2. The rectum 1 consists of a tube 3 equipped with a mandrin and a head 4 equipped with a handle 5. A lamp holder 9, a protect cover, an expansion ball 7 are installed in a head 4. The endostud 2 is composed of a hollow abdominal wall cylinder tube 8 which as a rod-like part 9 in the tip end. The rod-like part 9 has a slot 10 at its axial cross section, the slot 10 acts as a guide for a lamp holder 6. The whole length of the endostud should be at least twice of the length of the rectum mirror 1 so that the tube 3 of the rectum mirror 1 is drawn completely from the inner part of a rectum, and is located at the base of the endostud out side of the rectum. |
