PURPOSE:To manufacture a heat-resisting insulating material and an insulating wire bearable of a continuous use at a high perature not less than 400 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:An insulating material is manufactured by a wherein a composite material consisting of 100wt.% of silicone resin selected from polycarbosilane, polytitanocarbosilane and polysilazane and 10 to 600wt.% of an inorganic filler is baked at a sufficient temperature for generating silicon nitride in ammonium or a mixed gas of ammonium and inert gas. When an insulating wire is manufactured, a conductor is coated with a composite material followed by baking. The insulating wire consists of conductor and a manufactured insulator. |
