<p>PURPOSE: To save the handling time to point a pointing device and to simplify an operation by moving a pointing cursor required at a minimum when a pointing area is provided and display information is scrolled. CONSTITUTION: When a character cursor 26 is located at a recognized result 'no' (Japanese character) displayed at the rightmost position on a first line among the recognized results displayed on a window 22, the pointing area 22' located at the rightside of 'no' is pointed by the cursor to confirm the next recognized result of the character cursor 26 by a user. Thereby, right side cursor moving processing is started up, and a cursor moving means judges whether or not the next recognized result of the character cursor 26 exists. When it exists, it is judged whether or not it is displayed on the window 22. When it is not displayed, the string of recognized result being displayed on the window 22 is scrolled by one character in the leftward direction by a scroll means, and the position of the next recognized result 'table' of the cursor 26 is moved by one character in the leftward direction.</p> |
