<p>PURPOSE: To prevent undesired heating even upon failure in short mode of a diode stacked on the final stage by connecting an overcurrent preventive resistor and a diode in series on the high voltage output side of a circuit part and disposing the overcurrent preventive resistor contiguously to one of a plurality of diodes at the circuit part. CONSTITUTION: An overcurrent preventive resistor 18 is fed with a current corresponding to the beam current of a Braun tube 20 and an AC current produced by a pulse voltage generated from a final winding 17 for generating high voltage through a resistor 18, a short-circuited diode 19, a Braun capacitor 20, an ABL smoothing capacitor 21, and an interlayer capacitor. The resistor 18 is disposed contiguously to a high voltage winding stack diode 16 preceding the final winding 17 for generating high voltage. Furthermore, an input voltage detection circuit 5 is provided on the primary winding 12 side so that the cut operation can be stopped.</p> |
