Baked prods. of the sweet or salted puff pastry type obtd. by the stages of (1) kneading a raw material, with the exception of wheat flour, with water; (2) shaping the resulting prod.; (3) oven baking the prod. using a thermal cracker- or biscuit cycle; and (4) further drying the prod. with microwave, radio frequency or infra red radiation.
