<p>As shown in the figure, the output shafts of engines (21, 22) are coupled to traction transmission mechanisms (27, 28) via free wheel clutches (23, 24) for a change in speed at a desired ratio to rotate a collector gear (33) and a main rotor shaft (34). The output torques of the engines (21, 22) are in part distributed to gears (25, 26, 35, and 36) to drive accessories (37, 38) and a tail rotor (41). This configuration realizes a power transmission mechanism for a helicopter, which can vary the revolutions of a main rotor with the engine maintained at a constant speed. <IMAGE></p> |
