For use in a truck having a cargo bed (12), a support frame (10) slidingly attached to the cargo bed (12). The support frame (10) is deployable to cover at least a portion of the cargo bed (12) and is retractable to substantially uncover the cargo bed (12). The support frame (10) preferably includes a pair of rails (18) fixedly attached to the cargo bed (12), and a plurality of support ribs (16) arranged for generally horizontal sliding motion along the pair of rails (18). The support ribs (16) may be selectively positioned adjacent each other and spaced from each other along the pair of rails (18).
