The digital key phone connecting apparatus is comprised of synchronizing signal terminals(FSA, FSB) and B-clock terminal(BCLK) of a transmitting part(801) of a sub-module(855) being connected to a transmitting part(402) of a digital key phone(400); data transmit-receive terminals(TxD, RxD) of a microcomputer(404) of the digital key phone(400), a clock terminal(CLK) and an input-output(I/O) controlling port being connected to the transmitting part(801); subsequently, a transformer(807) being connected to a transmission line(821) of an other digital key phone(857); the transformer being connected to input and output terminals(Lo,Li) of the transmitting part(801) through a Zener diode(806) and capacitors(804,805). Namely, the sub-module(855) for performing the data transmission from the digital key phone(857) to the digital key phone(400) for communication is formed, thereby making another digital key phone(857) available through a surplus channel of the digital key phone(400) and promoting extensibility.
