Disclosed is a tongue for a seat belt which can relieve oppression by resisting the pulling force of the retractor. The device comprises a tongue(1) with a slot(11) for the belt(3) and with an insert(12) that has a hole(12a) for the buckle; a pair of through holes(13a,13b) between insert(12) and slot(11); shoulders(14a,14b) to catch the pressing elements(15a,15b) in vertical through holes(13a,13b); compression springs(16a,16b) above the pressing elements(15a,15b); a pressing mechanism(4) that has projected elements(41a,41b) at both ends and extension(42) at center; and a knob(43) that elevates the pressing mechanism(4) at the end of extension(42). The invention improves comfort with seat belt fastened.
