Telephone call charge calculation method for cellular telephone

The method involves setting the telephone call charge calculation function in a cellular telephone. When a call is set-up by dialling using the cellular telephone it is determined if the telephone call charge calculation function is set. The time for the telephone call is collected and counted by controlling a counter when the calculation function is set. The collected and counted time is displayed. Preferably, the setting of the calculation function involves displaying a message for entering a password when the calculation function can be set using key input. The password is entered and the calculation function is set when a key input exists for the setting.
