PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily take out semiconductor chips after parts are transported and surely prevent damage, in terms of external appearance and specific property, to the semiconductor chips during the transportation of parts. SOLUTION: A transporting container for square chip parts is composed of a belt-shaped container body 1 in which a plurality of storing recesses 3 each adapted to store a square chip part 6 are longitudinally provided and a cover tape 2 which is releasably pressed on the body 1 so as to close each opening of the recesses 3. In the body 1, protruding rims 9 are provided around the periphery of the opening of the recess 3 and when the tape 2 is pressed on the body 1, the rims are deformed so that the diameter of the opening of the recess is made smaller by the press forces of the tape 2 and when the tape 2 is peeled off, the press forces are removed and the diameter of the recess is made larger. |
