PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate looseness of recording paper easy to be caused at the time of installing the new roll type recording paper. SOLUTION: This device is furnished with an opening and closing cover 32 installed on a device main body free to revolve between an opening position and a closing position around a revolving axis as its center, a roll type recording paper 82 carried through a carrying route and a printing means 72 to record information on a recording paper 100 from the roll type recording paper 82. In this case, a braking force giving means to give braking force to the rolled recording paper 82 is provided on the opening and closing cover 32, when the opening and closing cover 32 is revolved toward the closing position, the rolled recording paper 82 is integrally revolved with revolutional motion of the opening and closing cover 32, and accordingly, the roll type recording paper 82 is moved in the direction to rewind the recording paper 100 drawn out from there. |
