PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute an image forming part and an image supply part supplying image data thereto mutually independently to modularize the respective parts to make them easy to produce and to improve gradation reproduction while reducing the load of data processing in the image forming part by effectively using data processing capacity on the supply side of image data. SOLUTION: A reader part A becoming independent of a printer part B reads a manuscript 1 by a CCD 2 and a density level is converted by the gradation correcting table within an RAM 10 to be supplied to the printer part B. At this time, process data showing the process condition in the printer part is received and the density level conversion characteristics in the RAM 10 are controlled according to the received process condition. |
