PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of malfunction by giving alarm from a display device when even one piece of color information corresponding to image data of respective colors does not exist as forming color information of a plurality of image forming sections. CONSTITUTION:A device comprises image forming sections 2 and 3 where forming color can be changed, a CPU 104 for discriminating color property of a data to be printed and to be inputted to the device, and a display section 112 for alarming dependent on result of comparison of the forming color of the image forming sections 2, 3 with the color property of a discriminated data. That is, when even one developing device corresponding to the color of the data does not exist, alarm displaying is performed, so that malfunction can be prevented. |
