PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extrusion cover apparatus of a linear body capable of precisely molding and covering a cover layer having a given sectional shape even if a thermal strain occurs with an extruder. SOLUTION: This extrusion cover apparatus of a linear body B is provided with an extruder 10; a molding device 20 for introducing a mixed thermoplastic resin and for molding and covering a cover layer of its specified sectional shape around the outer periphery of a linear body core A that penetrates and runs; and a communicating tube 40 for coupling the extruder 10 and the molding device 20. In this case, the molding device 20 is fixedly placed on a setting place 60, the extruder 10 is arranged movably in a horizontal face via moving devices 14 and 15 against the molding device 20, thermal strain caused by heating is absorbed by the extruder 10 moving with the molding devise 20 being a proximal point.
