A fuel injection device for fuel-injected engines, especially Diesel engines, has at least one solenoid valve (7) for injection quantity metering which can be controlled by a main control apparatus (8). The control apparatus, according to a program which can be specified, determines a standard injection quantity according to at least one operating parameter detectable by a measuring device and generates corresponding signals. There is a tuning device (17) to increase the injection quantity above the standard value specified by the main control apparatus. The tuning device has an additional control apparatus (18) which according to a program which can be specified, determines a multiple injection quantity according to at least one operating parameter detectable by a measuring device and generates corresponding signals. It is connected to each solenoid valve via a signal line (19) via which the end of the standard injection can be detected and subsequently, the solenoid valve can be controlled for multiple injection quantity metering. |
