The central clutch retractor unit comprises sealing surfaces which are provided with micro cavities. The housing forms a pressure space accommodating a movable annular piston whose face is provided with a grooved sealing ring. The outer and inner lips of this sealing ring press against the sealing surfaces respectively of the outer sleeve and the inner (guide) sleeve. The central clutch retractor unit in the form of a slave cylinder with a plastic housing (2) produced by injection molding comprises sealing surfaces which are provided with microcavities. The housing forms a pressure space (6) accommodating a movable annular piston (7) whose face is provided with a grooved sealing ring (9). The outer and inner lips (10, 12) of this sealing ring press against the sealing surfaces (11, 13) respectively of the outer sleeve (4) and the inner (guide) sleeve (5).
