OPENING AND SHUTTING SHUTTER CARTRIDGE

PURPOSE: A cartridge having a shutter capable of being opened and closed in both directions is provided to enhance a compatibility of a cartridge by receiving a disk capable of being recorded on one surface or two surfaces in one cartridge, and opening/closing a shutter mounted in the cartridge in the both directions. CONSTITUTION: An upper and a lower plates(42, 44) having a receiving space(40a) for receiving a disk capable of being recorded on one surface or two surfaces are combined thereto. An arc-typed rib(46) is formed at an inner circumference surface of the upper and the lower plates(42, 44) for supporting a rotation of a disk. A slide groove(48) having two square holes(48a) is formed at the front surface of a cartridge(40) for penetrating both side walls thereof. A shutter(50) is mounted at the front surface of the cartridge(40) for exposing a data area of a disk received on the receiving space(40a) by opening units(42a)(44a). The first and second escape grooves(42b)(42c) are formed on the upper plate(42) for escaping the shutter(50) in the both directions. A square hole(50a) having the same shape and size as that of the square holes(48a) is formed at the shutter(50). A shutter locking unit is provided at the cartridge(40) for locking/releasing the shutter(50) being moved in accordance with the slide groove(48). The shutter locking unit comprises the first and second links(54, 56) fixed by a hinge(52) at the end of the upper and the lower plates(42, 44). A receiving rib(54a) having a pair of male/female tension and a receiving groove(56a) are formed at the end portion of the first and second links(54, 56). A protrusion(58) having a hemisphere groove(58a) formed at one surface thereof is formed at the other end portion of the first and second links(54, 56) for being inserted into the square holes(48a)(50a).
