PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plane plasma discharge display device capable of performing plasma light emission displaying with a high definition and high brightness. SOLUTION: A plane plasma discharge display device includes a discharge sustaining electrode group X having a first and a second discharge sustaining electrode and an address electrode group Y having address electrodes, wherein a plurality of plasma discharge parts P are formed for one discharge starting part, and these plasma discharge parts for the discharge starting part are driven into light emission either one after another or simultaneously.
