PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recorder in which a color image and a high gradation black based image can be recorded without increasing the size or cost of the recorder by adding a recording material of black based color having different concentration to a replaceable recording material among a plurality of kinds of recording material. SOLUTION: At least one of a plurality of kinds of recording material can be replaced by a recording material of black based color or other color. The plurality of kinds of recording material include at least two black based recording materials of different concentration when at least one recording material is replaced by a recording material of black based color. As an example, an ink jet recording head 5 comprises integrated ink recording head parts 5a, 5b, 5c ejecting cyan, magenta and yellow inks, respectively. An ink jet recording head being mounted on a carriage 4 and replaceable with the recording head 5 integrates an ink jet recording head part for ejecting black inks having dye concentration of 4 wt.%, 2 wt.% and 1 wt.%. |
