The blank has interlocking tongue and groove connections to reinforce it during stacking. Two parallel sides of the polygonal base (1) are extended by two rectangular walls (3) which each have an extension panel (8) forming a double wall thickness and attached along a hinge line (9). The extension panels each have flaps (12) on each side which are attached to the adjacent walls (4) which have tongues (14) on their upper edges. A cut out (15) at the lower edge of the flaps and an opening (16) in the base allow inter-fitting of the tongues of a similar package below.
