The grill has a grill unit in a housing (1) with a hollow body contg. electric heaters (13) and a drive housing with an electric motor for driving the grill unit. The housing has an upper aperture (11). The grill unit consists of a grid (31), cover, sleeve (33), rod (34) and attachment with the sleeve in the center of the grid and two rounded ends in the aperture. The sleeve's shaft has a stepped section for inserting the grid cover. The rod is fixed in the sleeve with one end engaging the gearbox housing (12) and driven by the motor.
