PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden veneer container which is excellent in productivity without imposing a bad influence on the human body and natural environment, its manufacturing method, and a manufacturing mold. SOLUTION: A veneer 2 obtained by slicing wood 3 is softened by dipping in water following hot water, or only water, the softened veneer 2 is molding formed in a container shape by adding a specific pressure and heat between a top mold 5 and a bottom mold 6, and a plurality of reinforcing projected parts 1a are formed on its bottom wall and side wall. Water content is vaporized from the veneer 2, and its water content is made high pressure steam S. After compressing the veneer 2 by the high pressure steam S, the high pressure steam S is ejected instantly from a vapor hole 7a formed between the top mold 5 and the bottom mold 6 by its pressure, an edge 2a of the container- shaped veneer 2 is cut in mold forming or after half opening, and the wooden veneer container 1 is formed.
