PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small tombstone which prevents dropout of articles of the deceased, housed therein in spite of the intention of users, and allows the users to readily house or take out the articles. SOLUTION: The small tombstone 10 consists of a pole 11 and a pedestal 12 bearing the pole 11. The pedestal 12 is formed by arranging an undermost pedestal 13, an intermediate pedestal 14, and an uppermost pedestal 15 in this order toward the pole 11. The pedestal 12 has a housing portion R1 formed therein, which is an open space defined by through holes h2 and h1 penetrating through the intermediate pedestal 14 and the uppermost pedestal 15, respectively, and the undermost pedestal 13 as a bottom plate of the through holes h1 and h2. The housing portion R1 can be opened by removing the pole 11 and at least one of a part of the intermediate pedestal 14 and a part of the uppermost pedestal 15.
