PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material causing no damage to function of a moving body being in contact with a finely divided granule in a housing, causing no slipping out of a fiber having good maintenance in a sliding part being in contact with the moving body, and having sufficient sealing properties to be capable of preventing from leak of the finely divided granule such as a finely divided toner or the like. SOLUTION: The sealing material 1 is one that has a predetermined clearance between the moving body having in contact with the finely divided granule and that the housing of the moving body causes no adhesion to the moving body or a housing surface not to prevent the moving body from moving and to be capable of sealing the leak of the finely divided granule. The sealing material comprises pile yarn and a plain weave construction supporting that, the pile yarn being a synthetic resin fiber having fineness of single fiber of 6-15 denier, and low coefficient of friction and heat resistance, and the pile fabric 2 having a height of the pile yarn of 1.5-4.0 mm and hairiness density of the pile yarn part of 40,000-80,000/in2, and a coating layer 5 to prevent slipping out of the pile yarn on the back surface. |
