PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fuel cell which has high output and high voltage by making a conductive organic polymer an electrode catalyst. SOLUTION: The fuel cell is provided with a cathode and an anode on both sides of an electrolyte, and an oxidizer in gaseous state is supplied to the cathode, and a reducing agent in gaseous state is supplied to the anode. A conductive organic polymer having oxidization reduction capability is made to have in at least one of the electrodes as an electrode catalyst of the fuel cell. Using an inorganic oxidization reduction catalyst together with the conductive organic polymer as the electrode catalyst can obtain the fuel cell having much higher output power. |
