PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive memory card and data distribution method, with which the time required for downloading data is shortened. SOLUTION: A 1st storage part 12, consisting of ROM which stores the encoded contents data, is provided in a memory card 11. When a downloading request for contents data is transmitted to the server, only the decryption data for decoding the contents data encoded from the server are transmitted. The decryption data are stored in a 2nd storage part 14 of the memory card 11. Contents data are read by using the decryption data stored in the 2nd storage part 14. |
