<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a characteristic of a taste by casting light to fruit and vegetables and measuring light projecting from the fruit and vegetables, and to correctly regulate a position with good transfer efficiency by setting a tray upper part of a quadrangular prism not projecting outward from a circumferential edge of a tray lower part. SOLUTION: An upper part 12 of a schematically quadrangular prism of a tray 1 does not project from a circumferential edge of a cylindrical lower part 11. Therefore, the tray is improved in transfer efficiency without being clogged during the transfer. A recessed groove 16 is formed at the center between light-passing parts at a bottom face of the lower part of the tray. A transfer path 21 of a direction-controlling mechanism 2 is constituted of rotating rollers, and transfer means 23, 24 are belt conveyors in pairs. Since the pair of means 23, 24 of different transfer speeds are provided at both sides of the path 21, the tray entering the mechanism 2 is rotated and transferred because of a difference of the transfer speeds, stopped rotating after a projecting streak 22 is fitted in the groove 16 of the tray, and discharged in a state held in a constant direction.</p> |
