PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for supporting the evaluation of an analytic model which can reproduce the information for use in evaluation more faithfully while reducing the amount of data of the analytic model to enhance the processing speed in the evaluation of the analytic model based on a finite element method. SOLUTION: A model definition part 20 generates FEM model data on the basis of shape data of an analysis object being transferred from a CAD 10. An FEM analysis part 30 performs an analysis by the finite element method using this FEM model data to generate FEM result data. A membrane element generation part 40 extracts only the data associated with a free surface and different material interface of the analysis object, a contact interface, an inner face of an inside air gap, a cracked inner face, and a fracture inner face among this FEM result data as face data. The face data are displayed on a display 50 by an equivalent resolution of the FEM result data, and also evaluated at an evaluation processing part 60.
