RADIO CHANNEL SETTING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To reduce number of standby channels and to attain effective utilization of a radio wave by detecting a call control signal included in layer information and assigning only a required radio channel between a base station equipment and a subscriber station equipment depending on the content. CONSTITUTION:When a layer 3 information signal 'call setting' is sent to a subscriber line exchange 1 through a set D channel, a layer 3 processing section 11 detects the signal to apply call setting processing and gives a request of setting B channel to a radio channel management control section 23 at the same time. The control section 23 assigns the B channel between the base station equipment 2 and the subscriber station equipment 4. The equipment 4 starts a Bi channel upon the receipt of the assignment notice and informs the end of Bi channel start to the equipment 2 through the D channel. When the line assignment is finished, the control section 23 informs the end of B channel setting to the exchange 1. Thus, a terminal equipment 5 and the exchange 1 are brought into communication.
